Connecting employers and newcomer academics
Jobbsprånget is a four-months internship program aimed at harnessing the skills of newcomer academics and expedite their way into the Swedish labour market. Industrivärden and several of our portfolio companies participate in the program. Jobbsprånget is a national initiative and is run by the Royal Swedish Academy of Engineering Sciences on behalf of the government and Knut and Alice Wallenberg’s foundation (KAW).
After completed internship 70% of the participants are offered employment. 50% of the participants are women.
Jobbsprånget combines business and social benefits by matching today’s demand of skills with people wo are outside the labour market.
Industrivärden has offered 15 newcomer academics internship since 2016.
